Slated to release sometime in early June, Nokia Lumia 925 has already raised a few concerns. Certain reports indicate that Nokia is rolling out its upcoming device with an aluminum body. Now the plot thickens around the Finnish firm as the 925 is going to be the first in Lumia series with a metal body. This reason has compelled consumers to feel that the 925 will suffer from issues regarding antenna and reception performance. Nokia, the firm that once dominated the smartphone market, is now hoping to get back into the game by plunging into the tablet market in direct competition to Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 3. Nokia made quite a gamble when it chose to make Windows Phone based smartphones a couple of years ago. Nokia’s all set to launch its flagship smartphone for 2013 in just over a month, the Lumia 928 or Catwalk. The phone could come in black, cyan, red and white and will be offered in the U.S. markets through Verizon. And so we’ve already begun imagining and speculating what the Finnish company would come up with this time around. What we do know so far is that it could have an all-aluminum body with an extremely sharp style. A rendering by a Nokia fan has already got rave reviews for its sleek and glossy looks. Looks like Nokia’s gamble with Windows Phone is finally beginning to pay off. After consecutive quarters of disappointing results, the former world leader in mobile phones managed to jump up out of red during Q4 2012. Nokia managed to sell 4.4 million Lumia smartphones during this period, a much needed perk for the company, especially after a difficult Q3 when 2.9 million Lumia smartphones were shipped. The total for Lumia stands at 14.3 million units until December 31, 2012. These figures completely match Nokia’s expectations for Q4. What comes as more good news for the company is that its overall sales volume in the North American market also saw an increase of 40 percent year-to-year, to 700,000 during Q4 2012.
