7-inch Kindle Fire HD and 8.9-inch Kindle Fire HD Launched by Amazon

    The 7-inch and 8.9 inch variants of its Kindle Fire HD, along with Kindle Paperwhite, its premium e-book reader have finally been launched in India by E-retailer Amazon. The 16GB variants of the 7-inch Kindle Fire HD and 8.9-inch Kindle Fire HD will be priced at Rs.15.999 ($275) and Rs.21,999 ($379), respectively while the 32GB variants of the same will cost Rs.18,999 ($327) and Rs.25,999 ($448) respectively.     Microsoft may unveil the second generation version of its Surface devices with 7 to 9 inch Displays at Microsoft’s Build developer conference in late June, according to DigiTimes.
