Wake Up Retina-Packed iPad 5 & iPad Mini 2: To Put Google Nexus 7 2 to Sleep?

Previous rumors indicating towards Apple not including a Retina Display in its upcoming device can go rest in grave as considering the latest reports, the Cupertino Calif.-based firm has settled to offer its forthcoming 9.7-inch iPad 5 and 7.9-inch iPad Mini 2 with Retina Display, all set to launch coming October.

Apple is reported to trade in the required number of display panels with high resolution from LG Display in the following months. These Retina-made display panels will meet the firm’s requirement to ship around three million units of iPad Mini 2 in October this year.

iPads made with Retina Display are expected to beat previous sales record of Apple’s devices. LG Display, we hear has boosted the production process of panels to meet Apple’s original release date for the iPad Mini.
